Lily Martyn

Executive Officer

Lily Martyn has joined EGMI as our new Executive Officer.

Growing up in Bowral NSW, Lily's Dad ran a successful Event Agency where she was thrown in the deep end of helping where needed (name tags, folding booklets & packing collateral for events), after which she fell in love with the industry and has since worked in Event Management, Travel, Tourism, Sustainability & most recently, several years in the Government and Not For Profit Sector specifically in Policy & Grant applications.

Lily has studied Journalism, Event Management, Travel & Tourism and during COVID kept busy by throwing another degree under her belt in Personal Training & Nutrition to make sure she really captured as many different industries as possible.

Lily saw first hand what it was like running a business from her parents and the ups and downs of this, especially during the Global Financial Crisis and the stress that this caused her family during this time and has had a great mentor, being her Father who was able to help her navigate her own journey into business.

Relocating from Ferntree Gully 18 months ago to Metung where she lives with her three boys, Lily is excited about encouraging others to relocate to East Gippsland and make the similar transition that she has, which will in turn - continue to grow and develop the beautiful Gippsland region.
