The much anticipated opening of the Metung Hot Springs will take place next month, with the hot springs open for guests from 29 October onwards.

Bookings will open on 19 September.

Guests will experience lush geothermal water bathing pools, massaging showers, architecturally designed sauna experiences, reflexology walk, bathing barrels with picturesque cliff top views of Lake King, nutritious all-day cafe service, comforting guest amenities and welcoming gift shop.

Premium onsite accommodation comprises luxurious safari style glamping tents, complete with private balcony and geothermal bathing barrels, king size bed, ensuite, luxury amenities, daily gourmet breakfast, welcome drink and canapes on arrival and access to the full site for bathing.

Stay, bathe and golf packages include access to the Metung Country Club nine hole golf course, restaurant and resort facilities, just a short golf buggy ride away.

The project is funded by Metung Hot Springs with support of $1.5 million received from the Victorian Government’s Gippsland Tourism Recovery Package and $1.5 million received as part of the Australian and Victorian Governments’ Local Economic Recovery Program.

The nearby Metung Country Club, just 500 meters up the path, will reopen in mid-October, having undergone renovation and rebranding.

Formerly known as the Kings Cove Golf Club, the new Metung Country Club is under the management of the Metung Hot Springs, and features contemporary day and evening dining options showcasing regional produce, seven days a week.

The clubhouse facilities are being reimagined with a new aesthetic, and an experienced leadership team is setting about making the Metung Country Club a powerful regional attraction that complements the nearby hot springs.
