Australia’s First Hot Springs Golf Course Resort Soon to Open In Metung

  Monday 12th September, 2022

The golf club at Metung will reopen in mid-October, having undergone renovation and rebranding.

Formerly known as the Kings Cove Golf Club, the new Metung Country Club is under the management of the nearby Metung Hot Springs, and features contemporary day and evening dining options showcasing regional produce, seven days a week.

The clubhouse facilities are being reimagined with a new aesthetic, and an experienced leadership team is setting about making the Metung Country Club a powerful regional attraction that complements the nearby hot springs.

“Lesley Eccles joins as head chef with a great sensibility for regionally sourced seasonal produce, perfect for our guests”, says Adrian Bromage, Managing Director of Metung Hot Springs & Metung Country Club. “After a round of golf, guests will be able to truly unwind at the hot springs with saunas, reflexology walk, massage and spa treatments and lush geothermal water bathing pools.”

Newly appointed Superintendent Clint White comes with 10 years of experience at Royal Melbourne and is leading the team to establish The Metung Country Club course to become Australia’s best nine hole golf course, and Australia’s first hot springs golf course resort.

The course remains open, and new members can take advantage of a package offer that includes golfing seven days, discounts in pro-shop and restaurant, access to practice facilities, participation in member competitions and events, golf handicap administration and reciprocal access to affiliates courses across the country.
